3 Lessons from the interview:

1. It's better to have a few people love you than a million people kinda like you.

You should not be super focused on growth. I think in every start of a business, you need to grow or you die but you should not have that kind of mindset. A customer-driver approach is much better than  top-down approach. 

2. Don't focus on being bigger. Focus on being better.

Apple didn't spend a lot of money getting people into the Apple store. They spent money when you're in the Apple store on the experience and if you just love the experience, it's actually super simple. Like you just focus on making an amazing product. Once you have enough people, they will do the market for you.

3. Continue to be more and more hands on.

We have this idea that the office is a laboratory and meeting your users is like going into the field. And you can't be only looking at data and only and staying in the lab. You also have to go to the field and meeting your customers.
